How we worship

Anglican worship, Sunday Eucharist and weekday prayer at St Michael and All Angels.

Worship is central to our life together. On Sundays, we gather in reverence and wonder, using the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternative Services.

At 8:00 am, a spoken Holy Eucharist in the chapel has an intimate, quiet feel. At 10:30 am, music and congregational singing help shape our worship in the church. We share coffee and conversation in the Parish Hall afterwards.

The first Sunday at 10:30 uses the BCP Holy Eucharist. The fourth Sunday is Morning Prayer, alternating BCP and BAS. The other Sundays ordinarily use the BAS Holy Eucharist (p. 185). This Sunday’s bulletin gives the current service details.

Wednesday Bible study at 10:00 am is followed by an informal Eucharist around the table and lunch out. There is also a Wednesday evening study from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
